President Trump’s campaign organization on Tuesday filed charges against Omarosa Manigault Newman, claiming that she broke a 2016 non-disclosure contract by disparaging the president in her new book and revealing private talks from the ultra-secret White House Situation Room.

The Washington Examiner in publishing the exclusive said: “In New York, Trump campaign lawyers filed for an arbitration to force the former “Apprentice” star to abide by the agreement they say she signed when joining the 2016 campaign. According to a sample of the agreement provided to Secrets, she was required to keep proprietary information about the president, his companies or his family confidential and to never “disparage” the Trump family “during the term of your service and at all times thereafter.””

It added “that Manigault Newman has made “egregious” violations of the agreement and as a result they are seeking millions of dollars in retaliation. As the case unfolds, they might also seek any “ill-gotten profits” she has received from the book, including her fee for writing it.”

Omarosa has claimed that she did not sign a non-disclosure as part of her White House work or in exchange for a 2020 campaign job that did not materialize, and has 14 days to respond to the Trump campaign’s demand for arbitration.

The Trump campaign official said: “Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. has filed an arbitration against Omarosa Manigault-Newman, with the American Arbitration Association in New York City, for breach of her 2016 confidentiality agreement with the Trump Campaign.”

In quoting an official, the publication adding: “President Trump is well known for giving people opportunities to advance in their careers and lives over the decades, but wrong is wrong, and a direct violation of an agreement must be addressed and the violator must be held accountable.”

Omarosa is an American reality television show participant and Trump’s former political aide. She first came to public attention in 2004 after becoming a participant on the first season of NBC’s reality television series, The Apprentice.

In January 2017, Omarosa was appointed as Assistant to the President and Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison. In December 2017, the White House announced the resignation of Omarosa, effective January 20, 2018. The United States Secret Service did not deny reports that Omarosa had been forcibly removed from the White House grounds in December last year, but said that the agency was not involved in the termination process or escorting or removing Omarosa from the White House complex.

The CNN White House correspondent April Ryan later reported that White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly fired Omarosa. Omarosa however, disputed the account insisting that she resigned. She taped her conversation and gave that tape to NBC’s television journalist Chuck Todd to play on his television show.

In February 2018, Omarosa publicly criticized the Trump administration on the reality television program Celebrity Big Brother, and stated that she would not vote for Trump again.

President Donald Trump has continued his twitter attack on Omarosa on Tuesday, referring to her as a “dog”.

The President yesterday called her “wacky” and “loser”, saying she “got fired 3 times on the Apprentice, now got fired for the last time. She never made it, never will. She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok. People in the White House hated her. She was vicious, but not smart.”

Omarosa is deeply critical of President Trump in her book “Unhinged”, which is set to be released on August 14, 2018. She labels Trump a “racist” in it, and states that witnesses have confirmed the existence of tapes of Trump repeatedly using the word “nigger” during filming of The Apprentice.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that the book is “riddled with lies and false accusations”, and accused Omarosa of “trying to profit off these false attacks”.

Omarosa said that she had turned down an offer of a $15,000 per month “senior position” in the Trump 2020 re-election campaign, which came with a non-disclosure agreement that was as “harsh and restrictive” as she had seen in her television career.
