Two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has left the door open for a possible 2020 US Presidential Election run. Speaking at a Q&A session last weekend, Clinton indicated that she might want to have a go at the polls again, despite losing to two different candidates over nearly a decade.

At the Q&A, Recode’s Kara Swisher asked Clinton outright: “Do you want to run again?”

Clinton initially said no before admitting that she wanted to be President. “No, no,” she replied, prompting laughter from the audience, before adding: “I’d like to be president.”

Clinton followed her admission by asserting that she feels capable to take on the responsibilities that come with being a President. Noting that “there’s going to be so much work to be done” if a Democrat wins the election in 2020, Clinton said:

“The work would be work that I feel very well prepared for having been in the Senate for eight years, having been a diplomat in the State Department.”

She added: “I’m not even going to even think about it until we get through this November 6th election about what’s going to happen after that.”

Clinton, former First lady and wife of ex-President Bill Clinton, put her name against Barack Obama ahead of the 2008 election. Obama clinched the Democratic nomination and went on to become President.

Then in 2016, Clinton ran against Republican nominee Donald Trump. Against predictions by mainstream media and political analysts that Clinton would easily beat her opponent, Trump emerged the victor and presently serves as President.
